NEXT STEPS
STEP 1
Join the LifeSpring Family
1. Become a born-again believer and follower of Jesus Christ.
2. Complete the LifeSpring Growth Track.
3. Serve on a LifeSpring Dream Team.
STEP 2
Get Baptized
We practice baptism by full immersion in water, which is the way Jesus was baptized and the way the Bible describes.

“At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.” Mark 1:9-10

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19

“Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.” Matthew 10:32-33

By being water baptized, you are Following the example set by Christ, Demonstrating your changed life, and Declaring your commitment publicly. A common expression when describing the transformation of water baptism is: Water Baptism declares outwardly/publicly what has happened inwardly/privately.
STEP 3
Join a Small Group
Small groups have one simple purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why small groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.
Have questions about Small Groups?
WHAT HAPPENS AT A SMALL GROUP MEETING?
You’ve probably seen small groups meeting and not even realized it. A small group looks like friends at lunch, teams playing basketball, or people studying a book or topic of interest. At its core, a small group is a small gathering of three to fifteen people. By participating in small groups, you can expect to connect with others through a common activity, engage in life-giving conversation, request personal prayer, and even explore using your gifts to contribute to the small group.

HOW OFTEN DOES A SMALL GROUP MEET?
Our small groups meet weekly during our 13 week small group semester. We have two 13 week semesters throughout each year. During this semester, we meet numerous times in homes studying and exploring God’s Word and direction for each of our lives while other weeks are structured in a way that we serve our community in some fashion while another week we will engage in fun recreational activities.

WHERE DO SMALL GROUPS MEET?
Small groups happen in homes or public locations off campus throughout our communities as well as on campus.

IS THERE CHILDCARE AVAILABLE?
Childcare varies from group to group depending upon how many families attend with children.

WHAT IF I AM UNSURE ABOUT THE FIRST GROUP I TRY?
The truth is, not everyone will find the best fit with the first group they try. This is why we encourage you to select a few groups that interest you, contact the leaders and try out a couple of different groups before choosing the best one for you. The simple strategy for finding success in small groups is to not give up. We believe there is a group that is right for everyone—including you!
